After having some interesting chats over the last few weeks with a handful of valued customers I decided to write up a first time users guide to let you know what to expect once you've placed your very first order with us. Hopefully it will help answer any questions you might have before you decide to trust us with your hard earned cash, don't forget to check our most frequently asked questions too.
When you sign up for your subscription you will first be directed to the PayPal website. Please follow the instructions there, PayPal is safe and secure.
Once your subscription has been set up and your first payment has cleared PayPal will notify our server about your order. The moment we get this notification we will create your account for you and send you an email with your username and password. This normally happens within a few seconds of your order being placed.
All you need to do now is check your email, login and download!
Once you have your username and passwod please visit http://web2txt.co.uk/download/ where you should then be able to log in and access your downloads, once logged in the site will also change to show you the members only prices on our downloads.
If you do not get an email with your username and password please first check your spam folders to make sure our email hasn't been sent there in mistake, if you still haven't got our email get in touch and let us know when you ordered and the email address you used on the PayPal website so we can check our records and get your username and password sent out to you.
When you order a song and decide to pay by PayPal you will first be taken to the PayPal site, you don't need a PayPal account, you can still order with your credit or debit card. Payments through PayPal are safe.
Payments normall clear within a few seconds unless you've initiated a bank transfer which can take a few days. The moment your payment has cleared PayPal will notify our server about your order, at this point we will create your user account and process your order.
We do things different with mp3 downloads and ringtones for a very simple reason: mp3 downloads should be downloaded on your computer and ringtones should be downloaded on your mobile phone. You can access your mp3 downloads on your phone however we don't recommend it as your network could be charging you a small fortune for internet access, likewise you could download your ringtone to your PC then transfer it to your phone but we can't advise on that so suggest you download on your mobile.
Mp3 Download Sales:
Once your order has been processed which normally only takes a few seconds our system will email you with your username and password. When you've got your username and password go to http://web2txt.co.uk/download/ where you will be able to download your song. If you don't get this email please check your spam box then if you've still not got it get in touch with us.
Ringtone Download Sales:
When you order a ringtone by PayPal we will email you an access code rather than a username and password, you then need to access web2txt.co.uk using the internet on your mobile phone where you can enter the access code. Once you've entered the code you will be taken to the download page where you will be able to access your ringtone or polyphonic ringtone.
If you are having difficulty entering this code and have a UK mobile number please get in touch with us and we will send you a text messag with the download link in.
If you ordered on your mobile phone or by our premium rate line you will get a text message with a direct link to your download page.
When you order and decide to pay using your UK mobile phone's pre-pay topup or contract account you will first be redirected to the PayForIt site which will ask you to enter your mobile phone number. Once you have entered your mobile number PayForIt will send you a four digit PIN number, you will need to enter this on the PayForIt site to confirm your order and agree to the charge on your mobile bill.
PayForIt is managed by the UK mobile phone networks. Mobile payments by PayForIt are safe and secure.
Once your mobile network has confirmed you have paid for your content their system will notify ours and we will process your order, this normally happens within a few seconds of you entering your confirmation code.
On mp3 download orders our system will then send you a free text message with your username and password. Once you have this text with your details please then visit http://web2txt.co.uk/download/ where you will be able to log in and get your download.
For ringtone sales you will be sent a text message with a link to the direct download page.
